Just spend over £5 five times in any participating Narborough shops and get a £5 voucher to spend at Narborough Hall - More Than Just A Gift.

Collect a sticker on your Shop Small card (available where you see the Connecting Narborough Shop Small Posters) every time you spend £5 or more at any of the participating shops in Narborough.

Can I get more than one sticker when I spend multiples of £5?

The point of the campaign is to encourage people to make shopping in Narborough a habit. We want you visiting more frequently and using a wider variety of shops. So, the stickers are limited to one from each shop per day regardless of how much you spend.

When do I need to collect my stickers by?

You have until 30th November 2023 to complete your card.

When can I redeem my card?

It can be redeemed anytime from 25th October until 30th November 2023.

Is there a limit on how many cards I can fill?

We want to encourage as many people as possible to use village shops more often. The more people use Narborough shops, the more the businesses thrive and the better for our whole community.
Narborough Hall is funding all promotional materials and the offer, so we do ask that it is used in a respectful and reasonable manner. See below for full terms and conditions.

Will you need to take any information from me?

When you come to redeem your voucher, we will ask you to provide us with your email address and phone number. Your details will be recorded for the purposes of monitoring fair use of the scheme. You will have the opportunity to opt into our Loyalty Scheme. All information will be held securely and never shared with any third party.

Why is only Narborough Hall giving away £5?

We’re just trying to spread a little Shop Small love!

At Narborough Hall, the majority of our customers only shop with us and rarely venture further into the village to use the other businesses. We want to encourage our customers to use more Narborough shops more often. In collecting these stickers we’re hoping that people might shop at Narborough Hall, then be incentivised to grab a coffee and a cake at one of the cafes, drop off their dry cleaning, buy themselves a bunch of flowers, pop in for a balloon for a birthday, treat themselves to a haircut or beauty treatment, pick up a lightbulb, book an eye test, pay that bill at the post office etc etc etc. There is so much in Narborough to be discovered! 

When the voucher is redeemed on a £10 spend, Narborough Hall don't make any profit. In fact, when you consider the time and costs of setting up and implementing this campaign it’s a not inconsiderable loss. We hope though that it will be worth it. We think everyone gains by bringing more focus to the village centre, highlighting the vital role small shops play in village life. Imagine how soulless Narborough would feel without them… Footfall is everything. After all, it’s the people that bring life to a village, and we hope that Narborough can be a village full of life, a welcoming and friendly place for everyone to come and enjoy.  

Whose idea was this campaign?

Rachael Wigginton is a Narborough resident and the driving force behind Connecting Narborough and we’re so grateful to her for all the time and energy she’s putting into this project. When she asked us at Narborough Hall to get involved we were really happy to help. We’d run a similar Shop Small campaign just after the pandemic and many of the shops reported back that it had been really well received by their customers. It seemed like a good idea to run the scheme again and take the opportunity to raise awareness of Connecting Narborough at the same time.
