Live Local Love Local Summer 2021 - It’s a wrap!

What an amazing few weeks we’ve had with our Live Local Love Local campaign! The people of Narborough - we salute you! You’ve come out on your droves and been so enthusiastic in your support of all the amazing independent shops on your doorstep. Thank you! 

And, to the shopkeepers themselves we say - you are our heroes! We know what it’s been like to endure months of lockdown when your business has been shut down for who knew how long! Every business owner that pivoted and adapted and creatively did their very best to keep trading in one way or another. Every business owner that took closure as an opportunity to refresh and redecorate, investing time, money and energy to ready their shop for reopening, whenever it eventually happened! You truly are inspirational. This is what it means to run your own business. It’s never easy but these last months have been the absolute worst! To get through this has been tough, and sadly not every business has made it. But, the shopkeepers of Britain and made of stern stuff and in Narborough at least, we are all still standing proud. 

Back in June, we were inspired by the fantastic @HollyTucker @Holly.co and #CampaignShopIndependent and (in a matter of days from idea to execution) we designed a logo and created a customer offer to incentivise everyone to choose local shops more often. 

With posters, stickers, collection cards printed, we toured the village and explained our idea. 
Our wonderful fellow shopkeepers jumped on board and the amazing customer response helped to bring our village back to life again after lockdown.

We are so, so grateful to everyone that took part and made it such an overwhelming success.
