We want everyone to feel comfortable and welcome when visiting More Than Just a Gift at Narborough Hall.

Our shop is located within an historic building and has a characterful layout that differs from modern retail spaces. We aim to make your experience as easy and enjoyable as possible and are always happy to help in any way we reasonably can.

Entrance

There is a step just inside the entrance due to the original structure of the building. Handrails are provided on both sides and the step is clearly marked.

If you would like assistance entering the shop, please let us know. Our team will always do their best to support you.

Inside the shop

Once inside, there are no further steps and we aim to maintain a clear, open and uncluttered environment to allow comfortable browsing.

If you need to take a seat or would like additional assistance while shopping, please feel free to ask, we are here to help you.

Personal service

We are very happy to adapt our service to individual needs. This may include:

• Assisting with entry where possible
• Bringing items closer for easier viewing
• Helping carry purchases
• Taking payment in a way that is most comfortable for you
• Arranging local delivery where appropriate

A calm sensory environment

We understand that retail environments can feel overstimulating for some people. Our shop is generally calm and peaceful, with gentle background music and a relaxed pace.

If you would prefer to visit at quieter times, Sundays 10am-11am and 3.30pm-5pm are typically the most consistently peaceful. Many other times are also quiet (outside peak seasonal periods or special events) especially the beginning or end of the day.

If you would benefit from a slower pace or more space while browsing, we are always happy to accommodate where possible.

Our full range is available to browse and purchase via our website, providing a convenient alternative for those who prefer to shop from home.

Parking

Free on site parking is available. We have two car parks, one on each side of the building.
